Heisman Trophy Winner Derrick Henry Holds First Autograph Signing in Huntsville

This week, former Alabama running back Derrick Henry aquitted himself well at the NFL Scouting Combine.  Next week, he will head back to the state that made him a national name and hold his first autograph signing.

Henry will be in Huntsville on Saturday at Parkway Place Mall.  The signing will take place at 2 p.m.

There are several different price points for the autographs and items to get signed are also available for purchase.  Several other ex-Crimson Tide players will be signing over the weekend, including an 11 a.m. appearance that day by potential top ten pick A'Shawn Robinson.

Henry ran the 40-yard dash in an impressive 4.54 seconds on Friday at the combine while finishing first among running backs in the vertical leap and broad jump.  It was no shock after the impressive resume he compiled on the collegiate level.

Last season as a junior, Henry won the Heisman Trophy while helping Alabama win the CFP National Championship.  He ran for 2,219 yards and 28 touchdowns while notching three of those scores in the title game.

Henry broke Herschel Walker's single-season SEC rushing yards record and is the career record-holder at Alabama.  Record breaking is nothing new for the back because the 12,124 yards he totaled as a Florida prep star is a national high school record.
