Hall of Fame Quarterback Steve Young Holds Book Signing in Hometown November 14th

Steve Young honed skills that would eventually make him a Hall of Fame quarterback in his hometown of Greenwich, Connecticut.  On November 14th, he will be back in town for a book signing.

Young will be signing copies of his recently released memoir, "QB: My Life Behind the Spiral."  The event takes place at the Cos Cob Library from 12:15-1:15 in the community room.

Books will be available for purchase at the signing courtesy of Diane's Book.  There should be many who knew Young as a as a football star at Greenwich High School that will be excited for his return.

Young left Connecticut to play college football at Brigham Young University.  In 1983, he was named a consensus All-American while winning the Davey O'Brien Award and the Sammy Baugh Trophy.

At the start of his professional career, Young bounced around between the USFL and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before finding a place to chart his legacy with the San Francisco 49ers.  He would go on to be a seven-time Pro Bowler and two-time winner of the NFL Most Valuable Player award.

Young also won three Super Bowls, one of them as a starter.  His jersey is retired by BYU and the Niners.
