About Tarah Gieger
Tarah Gieger is a professional motocross racer. Originally born in Puerto Rico, Gieger and herfamily moved to Florida when she was just ten years old. At 18, Gieger turned professional formotocross, winning AMA Amateur Championships in 2004, 2006, and 2007. In the first ever XGames womens supercross event, Gieger finished first in dominating fashion. Over her career,she has won numerous medals, including a gold medal, four silver medals, and two bronzemedals. In 2007, Gieger became the first woman to ever compete in the Motocross desNations, and event that had been all male since 1947. Gieger is considered one of the topfemale motocross riders in the world, and is sponsored by Red Bull racing.
