Former South Carolina Quarterback Connor Shaw Holds Sold Out Columbia Football Camp Saturday

While former South Carolina quarterback Connor Shaw has moved on to the NFL, there is no denying that he remains popular in Columbia.  This Saturday, Shaw will host a sold-out football camp in his former college town.

The Priority One Security Connor Shaw Football Camp will take place at the Northwest Family YMCA.  The four-hour camp runs from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

There will be a variety of attendees from the ages of six to 16.  They will receive expert hands-on instruction from Shaw for the low price of $15.

Shaw quarterbacked the Gamecocks through arguably the most successful period in program history.  He has more wins than any signal caller in South Carolina history, going 27-5 overall and a perfect 17-0 at home.

Shaw led USC to three bowl victories.  In his final game, he went 22-24 for 312 yards and four total touchdowns en route to being named Capital One Bowl MVP.

That final collegiate season, Shaw threw for 2,447 yards with 24 touchdowns and just one interception while completing over 63 percent of his passes.  He was an undrafted free agent pickup of the Cleveland Browns in 2014 and started the final regular season game that year.
