Former Ohio State Football Coach Jim Tressel Speaks at Chamber of Commerce Breakfast Next Month

The Perry County Chamber of Commerce hosts their second annual Groundhog breakfast February 3rd. Former Ohio State football coach Jim Tressel is slated to speak. 

The event starts at 6 a.m. at Sheridan High School. There are an array of presentations prior to Tressel's turn at the mic. 

Individual admission for chamber members is $25 and non-members is $30. There are also corporate packages available and the registration deadline in January 6th. 

Tressel is one of the most accomplished coaches in the history of college football. He went 229-79-2 overall in stints with Youngstown State and Ohio State. 

While at YSU, Tressel won four Division I-AA championships. He took the Ohio State job in 2001 and posted eight double-digit win seasons in ten years. 

Tressel's won the BCS National Championship with the Buckeyes in 2002 and played in two other title games. He is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame and currently serves as school president at Youngstown State.
