Former Auburn Head Coach Tommy Tuberville Kicks Off Montgomery Quarterback Club Meetings

The Montgomery Quarterback Club has released their list of speakers for the fall. Events officially kick into gear on September 12th when former college football coach Tommy Tuberville speaks. 

The club meets each week at the Montgomery Country Club. A social hour at 5:15 p.m. kicks off festivities followed by dinner at 6:15 and the program at 6:45 p.m. 

Sponsorships are still available for the 2017 season. Other coaches who will address the group include Troy University head coach Neal Brown, former Virginia Tech head coach Frank Beamer and former NFL and college coach Chan Gailey

Tuberville most recently served as the head coach at the University of Cincinnati from 2013-16. He also previously spent three years as the head coach at Texas Tech.

Tuberville experienced his greatest success in-state at Auburn University. He coached the Tigers for ten seasons and the team won five Southeastern Conference West Division titles. 

In 2004, Tuberville led Auburn to a 13-0 record and number two finish in the polls. He also was a head coach at Ole Miss in the conference and is a two-time SEC Coach of the Year.
