Esurance Features MLB All-Star Buster Posey in New Ad Campaign

There are not many more marketable stars in baseball today then San Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey.  The All-Star again is the face of a new ad campaign for Esurance.

Esurance is in the middle of a four-year partnership as the exclusive auto insurance partner of Major League Baseball.  This week, the debuted two new commercials featuring Posey.

In each, Posey is seen offering a comedic take on how he saves money.  He will also be actively involved in the social media campaign, "What Would Buster Do?" as part of the deal.

Posey is the heart and soul of the Giants, who currently sit at first place in the National League West with a 29-19 record.  Since his September 2009 callup, San Francisco has won three World Series titles.

In addition, Posey has been named an All-Star on three occasions.  In 2012, he captured the NL batting title with a .336 average and was named NL MVP.

Each of the last two seasons, Posey has won a Silver Slugger Award.  The Giants originally selected him fifth overall in the 2008 MLB Draft after he won the Golden Spikes Award at Florida State University.
