Duke Football Coach David Cutcliffe Keynotes Down Syndrome Charity Gala

Duke football coach David Cutcliffe is lending his time to a good cause. He is the keynote speaker for the 14th annual Anna's Angels Gala on March 25th.

Anna's Angels is a non-profit that raises money for down syndrome research at Duke. The event will be held at Prestonwood Country Club in Cary, North Carolina.

A&E television star Megan Bomgaars is also making an appearance. There will be dinner, silent and live auctions and further opportunities to learn about down syndrome research.

Cutcliffe has led the Blue Devils program to unprecedented success. He was named Atlantic Coast Conference Coach of the Year in 2012 and 2013.

In 2012, Duke ended an 18-year drought by beating rival North Carolina. The following season, they won the ACC Coastal Division title and posted the first ten-win season in school history.

Cutcliffe also led Ole Miss to four bowl victories as the head coach from 1998-04. He garnered a strong reputation in the coaching business with a 17-year tenure as an assistant on the staff at Tennessee.
