Drag Racer Courtney Force Holds Colorado Autograph Signing

The NHRA's western swing this weekend at Bandimere Speedway in Denver, Colorado.  One of the circuit's top stars, Courtney Force, is making an appearance tonight in the area to promote the sport.

Force will be at Hobbytown in the Brookhill Shopping Center in Westminster.  She will be signing autographs from 6-7 p.m.

The signing is on behalf of Traxxas, one of Force's main sponsors.  Traxxas is a leader in producing radio-controlled vehicles.

In 2014, Force became the winningest female driver in Funny Car history.  She has finished in the top ten of the NHRA standings on three separate occasions.

Force has reached top speed on 19 times in her Funny Car career.  She finished fifth in the driver standings during her first season in 2012 and was named NHRA Rookie of the Year.

The Force name is perhaps the most iconic in the industry.  She races for her father, John, who won 16 NHRA championships and passed the female wins record her sisters Ashley Force Hood set.
