Dallas Mavericks Point Guard J.J. Barea Holds Autograph Signing at Team Store Monday

While the NBA season may be wrapping to a close, the Dallas Mavericks still want to keep fans engageed throughout the summer.  In an effort to do so, they are holding a huge sale at their team shop with a special guest appearance.

Point guard J.J. Barea will stop by The Hangar North at American Airlines Center on Monday.  From 6:30-7:30 p.m. he will sign autographs and mingle with fans.

Starting Monday, everything at The Hangar will be 50% off.  The sale runs until Thursday and the store is holding special hours over the four days of 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Barea is a favorite of the Mavs faithful having played seven of his ten seasons in Dallas.  He has become one of the most respected players in the league due to his tenacity on the court and the work he puts in off of it.

Each season of Barea's Mavericks tenure, the team has made the playoffs.  In 2011, he averaged 8.9 points per game during the playoffs and the Mavs took home the first NBA title in franchise history.

Barea is just the seventh Puerto Rican player to make it to the NBA and he has been a key cog over the years for his national team.  He has led Puerto Rico to gold medals at the 2006 and 2010 Central American and Carribean Games as well as the 2011 Pan American Games.
