Baseball Hall of Famer Rollie Fingers Speaks at the La Salle Sports Stag January 31st

La Salle High School is welcoming a baseball legend this year. Rollie Fingers will speak at the La Salle Sports Stag on January 31st.

The 34th annual event begins with a VIP reception at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m. and the program at 8 p.m. Fingers is the tenth Baseball Hall of Famer to speak at the Sports Stag.

In 1974, Fingers was named World Series MVP after picking up two saves and a win in the Fall Classic. He was a seven-time All-Star and four-time Rolaids Relief Man Award winner.

Fingers was named American League MVP and Cy Young in 1981 after posting a 1.04 ERA and posting a league-leading 28 saves. He has his jersey retired by the A's and the Milwaukee Brewers.
