American Track and Field Star Allyson Felix Signs Endorsement Deal with Chobani Yogurt

Expect American track and field star Allyson Felix to rack up the endorsements leading up to this summer's Olympics in Brazil.  Felix latest deal is with Chobani yogurt.

Chobani shares her mission of keeping people healthy and the brand will transition with her as she likely competes in her last Olympics.  According to Sports Business Daily, she is also in advanced discussions to endorse Jif peanut butter and Folgers coffee.  

Chobani already had a deal in place a domestic rights holder with the United States Olympic Committee.  They are now hoping to see Felix rack up more gold medals when she runs in Rio.

Felix is a four-time Olympic gold medalist.  She won golds in 2012 in the 200 meters, 4 x 400 meters relay and 4 x 100 meters relay.  

Overall, Felix has won nine golds at the World Championships, including finishing first in the 400 meters last year.  Along with her U.S. teammates, she holds the world record in teh 4 x 100 meters relay.

USA Track and Field has honored Felix with the Jesse Owens Award as Track Athlete of the Year on four occassions.  Also, she was named IAAF Female Athlete of the Year in 2012.
