About Wally Armstrong
Wally Armstrong is a former PGA Tour player and current golf instructor who competed in over 300 events. Armstrong played on the tour for a decade from 1974-1984 and was winner of the 1973 Indiana Open. His best finish at a major was fifth at the 1978 Masters. Armstrong was an All-American golfer at the University of Florida. His set of videos “Maximize Your Game” gained great popularity in the early 90s. Legendary golfer Gary Player says that Armstrong is “The true master of teaching the feel of the game”. He created the first instructional tapes and Titleist’s clubs for junior players. The uniqueness of his videos comes from the array of household props he uses to teach the game. Armstrong is also a religious and motivational speaker who has spoke at over 700 events in his post-playing career. He has written a book called “Practicing the Presence of Jesus” and co-written “A Parable of Second Chances: The Mulligan Participant’s Guide”.
