About Vencie Glenn
Vencie Glenn was an American safety in the National Football League from 1986-1995. Throughout his 10 seasons, Glenn was particularly known for his ability to make plays in the defensive backfield especially by means of interceptions. He compiled 35 interceptions and took 2 for TDs, including one for 103 yards which is still longest in San Diego Chargers history. Glenn was drafted in the second round of the 1986 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots and also spent time playing with the Chargers, the Saints, the Vikings, and the Giants. Before turning professional, Glenn had a successful college career as a safety at Indiana State University.
