About Tyler McGregor
Tyler McGregor is a revered sled hockey player and captain of Canada's national para ice hockey team. Hailing from Ontario, McGregor was a promising stand-up hockey prospect until a leg break at 15 led to a diagnosis of spindle cell sarcoma, resulting in amputation. He transitioned to sled hockey and made his national team debut in 2012. As a forward, he has earned multiple Paralympic medals, including bronze in 2014, silver in 2018 and 2022, and has won several world championships. A respected leader and scorer, McGregor inspires through resilience and advocacy in Paralympic sport.
