Tyler Boyd Biography

Tyler Boyd is a wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals.  The Bengals drafted him in the second round out of Pittsburgh in 2016.  Boyd played for the Panthers as a true freshman and excelled.  He broke Larry Fitzgerald's school records for a first-year player with 85 receptions for 1,174 yards.  That catches total also broke the Atlantic Coast Conference record held by Sammy Watkins.  Several publications named him a Freshman All-American following the season.  He was also voted All-ACC second team by the media.  Boyd again went over 1,000 yards as a sophomore and was a first-team All-ACC pick.  In his junior campaign, he fell short of the 1,000-yard barrier, but was still named to the All-ACC first team.  Boyd finished his Pitt tenure as the career leader in receptions and receiving yards.  He is second in school history in all-purpose yards to Hall of Famer Tony Dorsett.
