Troy Dumais

Troy Dumais is a competition diver. He was born into a family of divers and swimmers so there was no question that his career path would involve the water. Early in his career he was named the Southern Pacific Association Diver of the Year in 1994. The next few years were when he really began to perfect his craft and continue to get better. In 2000 Troy made his first trip to the Olympic Games as an athlete where he finished 6th in the men’s springboard and took home a fourth place finish in the men’s synchronized springboard alongside David Pichler. Troy has gone on to compete in a total of four Olympics which makes him only the second diver to accomplish that feat. Arguably his biggest achievement other than his success in the Olympic Games came in 2011 at the Unites States National Championships where he teamed with Kristian Ipsen to win the synchronized men’s springboard competition.
