About Torin Yater-Wallace
Torin Yater-Wallace is from Aspen, Colorado, which was the perfect place for him to start up a career in freestyle skiing. Torin has been skiing since a very young age, and has been touted as one of the best up and coming skiers in the world, as he hasnt turned 20 years old yet. Torin began competing at a professional level in 2011 when he took part in the X Games for the first time. He took home a silver medal in the U.S. and a bronze in the European X Games in the same year. Since then he has medaled again in X games competition with two bronze medals, another silver, and two gold medals in the superpipe competition. More recently Torin has continued to expand his skiing to include the half pipe competition where he has won a silver medal in 2013 at the FIS Freestyle Worlds Ski Championships.
