Tomas Berdych is a professional tennis player from the Czech Republic and is currently ranked 9th in the World Rankings. A professional since 2002, Berdych has 10 career wins to his name with his most notable coming at the Paris Masters in 2005. Despite never winning a Grand Slam, Berdych is one of only a handful of active players to have reached the semifinals at each of the Grand Slam events. He reache the semis of the French Open and Wimbledon in 2010, the U.S. Open in 2012, and the Australian Open in 2014 & 2015. His 2010 performance at Wimbledon has been most impressive to date, where he defeated Roger Federer in the quarters and Novak Djokovic in the semis before eventually losing to Rafael Nadal in the finals.
