About Thomas DeCoud
Thomas DeCoud is an NFL safety, currently playing for the Carolina Panthers. DeCoud playedĀ collegiately at the University of California Berkley until being drafted in the third round of theĀ 2008 NFL draft by the Atlanta Falcons. DeCoud was used primarily as a special teamās player,Ā and didnāt experience any real success until the 2009 season, starting every game for theĀ Falcons, recording 68 tackles with two interceptions and two forced fumbles. During his timeĀ with the Falcons, DeCoud made one Pro Bowl in 2012. DeCoud was released by the Falcons atĀ the end of the 2014 season, signing less than a month later with the Carolina Panthers, whereĀ he has started every game at safety since the beginning of the season. In a game against theĀ Chicago Bears in week 5, DeCoud recorded his first interception as a Panther.
