About Susan Francia
Susan Francia wasborn November 8, 1982 in Hungary andis a 2-time Olympic gold medalist, 5-time World Champion, coach and motivational speaker. Achieving success at each and every one of these descriptions, Francia is someone to look up to. Moving to Pennsylvania shortly after birth, Francia attended the University of Pennsylvania and took up the sport of rowing as a sophomore. She studied Criminology and Sociology at the university and graduated in 2004 with a bachelors and masters degree. After graduation, Francia was presented with numerous job offers but decided to decline them in pursuit of her Olympic dream. Reaching this dream at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Francia became and Olympic gold medalist! Continued success in her rowing career came in the years to follow, but Francia considers one of her biggest successes to be her motivational speaking that she currently practices. Residing in Princeton, New Jersey, Francia travels worldwide to share her life experiences in the means to better others.
