About Stanley Morgan
Stanley Morgan is a former professional wide receiver for the New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts of the NFL. While in high school, Morgan played football at Easley High School where he helped lead the team to the state championship in 1972. Morgan then went on to play football for the University of Tennessee. The New England Patriots selected Morgan in the first round as the 25th overall pick in the 1977 NFL Draft. Morgan became one of the fastest wide receivers in the NFL in his early career. Throughout his first six seasons, Morgan averages over 20 yards per reception and he had a career high 24.1 yards per reception in 1978. During his career, Morgan was a 4x Pro Bowl selection and a 2x All-Pro selection. In 1985, Morgan and the Patriots were AFC Champions. Morgan spent his last playing year with the Indianapolis Colts in 1990. On August 27, 2007, Morgan was inducted into the New England Patriots Hall of Fame.
