About Sarah Fisher
Sarah Fisher spent a decade captivating audiences and setting numerous records as a professional racecar driver. She is most famously known for competing in the IndyCar Series and the Indianapolis 500. Fisher was born and raised in Ohio throughout the 1980’s and early ‘90’s and went on to debut professionally at the age of 19, becoming the youngest woman to compete in the Indianapolis 500. She also became the first woman to place at the Kentucky Speedway and stand on the podium, as she placed third. Fisher sent countless other records throughout her professional career, including becoming the first and only female team owner and the youngest owner in the IZOD IndyCar Series with her own establishment of Sarah Fisher Racing. She has received handfuls of awards and notable recognitions for all of the barriers she has crossed over the years. As one who is certainly not afraid to reach her greatest potential and become the first to try new things, Fisher has gone on to author a book entitled, 99 Things Women Wish They Knew Before Getting Behind the Wheel of Their Dream Job, which inspires thousands world wide.
