About Reggie Rivers
For five years Reggie Rivers played in the National Football League as a running back for the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent. Rivers played in every single game during that span of time and one of the seasons he was named the Broncos special teams Player of the Year. While he was still playing, Reggie began to explore his other passion of broadcasting when he began working for KOA radio and also wrote a sports column for the Rocky Mountain News. At the end of the 1996 season Reggie retired from playing the game of football and transitioned completely into broadcasting. He has since hosted his own talk show where he focused on non-sports related topics, and has been a weekend sports anchor for local news stations. Rivers has also expressed his passion for writing in his five books and has also become a successful motivational speaker.
