Nick McCrory

Nick McCrory is an American diver and he has been a member of the national team since 2007. McCrory won his first international medal at the World Junior Championship in 2006 when he took home a silver medal. At the 2011 World Aquatics Championships, McCrory competed with David Boudia in the synchronized 10-meter platform and finished fifth. He also finished sixth in the 10-meter competition. During the 2012 Summer Olympics, McCrory and Boudia won the bronze medal in the synchronized 10m platform with a total score of 463.47. The bronze medal won by McCrory and Boudia was the first Olympic medal for the United States in men’s diving since the 1996 games. McCrory placed ninth in the men’s individual 10-meter platform diving event during the Olympics as well. McCrory is currently a student at Duke University where he has won several medals at the collegiate level. He has won the gold medal in the 10-meter platform at the 2011 U.S. National Championships on August 14, 2011.
