Neal Anderson

Neal Anderson began his career in football at an early age. After he began to play competitively when he was in high school, he made the transition to playing at the collegiate level when he attended the University of Florida. In his four seasons with the Gators, Anderson racked up some impressive stats including having fourteen games with 100 or more yards rushing and remains as the programs third best all-time running back. Neal then became the 27th overall selection in the 1986 NFL Draft. With his selection he went on to the Chicago Bears where he spent his entire 8 eight year playing career. In his career the racked up 6,166 rushing yards and scored 51 rushing touchdowns which makes him the team’s third best all-time rusher. Those numbers also boosted Anderson to being honored as a 4 time Pro Bowl selection in four consecutive years between 1988 and 1991.
