Mojo Rawley

Mojo Rawley is the wrestling name of Dean Muhtadi who used to be a professional wrestler and entrepreneur. Muhtadi was born on July 17, 1986, in Alexandria, Virginia. He was a standout athlete in his high school years where he excelled in both football and track. He attended the University of Maryland where he played football as a defensive lineman and earned All-ACC honors. Muhtadi went undrafted in the 2009 NFL Draft and later played for the Green Bay Packers and Arizona Cardinals before moving to professional wrestling.

In 2012, Muhtadi signed with WWE and adopted the ring name Mojo Rawley. He made his WWE NXT debut in 2013 and quickly became known for his high-energy persona, encapsulated by the catchphrase “Stay Hype.” Rawley achieved notable success in WWE, including winning the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 33 and capturing the WWE 24/7 Championship seven times. He was released from his WWE contract in April 2021 after a battle with severe COVID-19 that sidelined him for nearly a year.

After leaving WWE, Muhtadi co-founded Paragon Talent Group, a talent management agency that helps professional wrestlers transition into other career opportunities. The agency has represented over 50 former WWE Superstars and generated more than $2 million in revenue for its clients. Muhtadi has also ventured into acting, appearing in the 2021 film Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins, and has co-hosted segments on TMZ Sports.

As of 2025, Muhtadi is exploring a return to professional wrestling, with plans to make a comeback that he describes as “a big surprise” for fans.
