About Michelle Bonner
Michelle Bonner is a native of Marblehead, Massachusetts and earned her undergraduate degree in English in 1994 from Northeastern University. Upon earning her degree she began her career in broadcasting at WCHS-TV in Charleston, West Virginia, where she served as a sports anchor and news producer. She’d go on to work as an anchor in Manchester, New Hampshire and Bangor, Maine and earn the Edward R. Murrow Award of Excellence in Journalism in 2001. In 2002 she was hired on as a sports anchor at Fox Sports in Los Angeles and eventually landed a job at CNN in Atlanta as their main sports anchor from 2003 to 2005. In 2005 she made the jump to the ESPN, the Worldwide Leader in Sports. Since that time she’s served as a anchor for ESPN’s flagship program, SportsCenter, and also served as an anchor on ESPNEWS. Bonner is a true journalist and the ultimate pro behind the anchor desk, delivering comprehensive analysis of today’s most important and pressing sports news stories to millions of viewers with a fresh perspective and refreshingly genuine personality.
