About Michael Robinson
Michael Robinson had a successful eight-year career as a fullback for the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks. Robinson made the Pro Bowl in 2011 and went out on top as a Super Bowl champion with the Seahawks in 2014. After suffering a kidney shutdown that preseason, he was initially cut and had to battle back to make the roster in October. Robinson was a Penn State quarterback and had to be converted to exclusively be a runner out of the backfield in San Francisco. He was the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year in 2005. That season, Robinson was a captain as the Nittany Lions won the Big Ten and the Orange Bowl against Florida State. The Richmond, Virginia went to Varina High School and was a two-time All-State pick. His Excel to Excellence Foundation impacts students in the Richmond area. Robinson is currently an analyst for the Big Ten Network.
