Michael Kim Biography

Michael Kim is the lead host on the new Time Inc. digital network, 120 Sports.  Prior to joining the Chicago-based startup, Kim was a longtime ESPN anchor.  He worked on SportsCenter and was the lead host for ESPN America, the international version of the network.  Kim spent 17 years at ESPN and was an original host for ESPNEWS upon its 1996 launch.  Prior to his national jump, he was a sports anchor and reporter for NewsChannel 8 in Springfield, Virginia for six years.  Kim graduated from the University of Missouri with a master’s degree in journalism.  The Fulton, Missouri native did his undergraduate work at Westminster College, where he played baseball.  In 2012, Kim was honored with inclusion on the Fulton High School Wall of Fame.
