About Mauricio Pochettino
Mauricio Pochettino took the help of the U.S. men's national soccer team in 2024, tasked with leading them into the 2026 World Cup. Before the USMNT team joc, Pochettino spent two years piloting Chelsea. In his one season with Paris Saint-Germain in 2022, he won Ligue 1 and the Coupe de France.
Pochettino previously had the reigns of Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton. He led the Hotspur to a league second-place finish in 2017 and their first Champions League final. In 2013, under his direction, Southampton had their highest-place Premier League finish to date.
Pochettino got his coaching start with the team he spent a large part of his playing career with, Espanyol. In addition to playing in major leagues around the world, he also had 20 appearances for Argentina, including during the 2002 World Cup.
