About Matt Stinchcomb
Matt Stinchcomb is one of the greatest players in Georgia Football history. He was a two-time All-American and was named to the SEC All-Decade First Team for the 1990s. In 1998, Stinchcomb was the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame Male Athlete of the Year. His career has also been recognized with induction into the College Football Hall of Fame and inclusion as an SEC "Living Legend." Off the field, Stinchcomb was also a standout, winning the William V. Campbell Trophy and garnering Academic All-American First Team honors twice.
Stinchcomb went on to be a first-round pick of the Oakland Raiders in the 1999 NFL Draft. He spent six seasons in the league with the Raiders and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. After football, Stinchcomb became a sports broadcaster and partner in the financial services firm, Sterling Seacrest Partners. He currently works for ESPN as a college football analyst.
