About Jacob Tamme
Jacob Tamme was a standout in the NFL and at the University of Kentucky. Tamme had a Christian upbringing in the small town of Danville, Kentucky. He excelled in football, basketball, and baseball throughout high school but was recognized for his above-average performance in the sport of football as he was a finalist for the Kentucky “Mr. Football” Award. Tamme became a Wildcats great and completed his collegiate career as their all-time top pass-catching tight end. He was also a two-time first-team All-SEC pick and eventually was inducted into the school's Athletics Hall of Fame. Tamme earned his MBA before joining the NFL. He debuted professionally in 2008 with the Indianapolis Colts and played with them until 2011. Tamme continued to be one of Peyton Manning's top targets when both subsequently joined the Denver Broncos. He finished his career with the Atlanta Falcons and officially retired in 2017.
