About Marcell Dareus
As the anchor of the Buffalo Bills defense, Marcell Dareus is one of the best defensive tackles in the NFL. Dareus is a two-time Pro Bowler. The Bills originally selected him with the third overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft. He was Buffalo’s highest pick since they took Hall of Famer Bruce Smith in 1985. At Alabama, Dareus was an All-SEC pick as a junior. He won a national title and was named MVP of the BCS Championship Game as a sophomore. In that game, he knocked Texas quarterback Colt McCoy out of the game and returned an interception 29 yards for a touchdown. Dareus is a Birmingham, Alabama native and went to Huffman High School, where he recorded 20 sacks as a senior. Scout.com ranked him the fifth best defensive tackle coming out of high school.
