About Madieu Williams
Madieu Williams had a successful career as a safety for four franchises during throughout NFL seasons. Williams was a second round pick of the Cincinnati Bengals and started all 16 games his rookie season. He recorded 13 interceptions in his career, nine of them during his first four seasons with the Bengals. The Madieu Williams Foundation helps teach young people how to live healthy. In 2010, Williams won the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award for his efforts with the charity. He played collegiately at Maryland and donated two million dollars to the university in 2009 for the Madieu Williams Center for Global Health Initiatives. Williams was born in Sierra Leone, West Africa but moved to Lanham, Maryland at age nine. He hosts a football camp annually in Lanham that is attended by many NFL players and Terrapins alums.
