About Lori Locust
Lori Locust was a groundbreaking assistant coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Locust was hired along with Maral Javadifar, making Tampa Bay the first NFL team to have two women on the coaching staff at the same time. Locust served as an assistant defensive line coach and became the first female assistant to win a Super Bowl. She gained great experience as the defensive line coach with the Alliance of American Football's Birmingham Iron and was also a coaching intern with the Baltimore Ravens during training camp in 2018. Locust has also been a coach in the National Arena League and the Women's Football Alliance. She personally played four years of women's semiprofessional football.
