Lardarius Webb

Lardarius Webb is a professional football cornerback who currently plays for the Baltimore Ravens of the NFL. Webb’s collegiate career began in 2004 where he played for the University of Southern Mississippi. During his freshman year, he played in all 12 games and during his sophomore year, he finished sixth n the team in tackles. In 2007, Webb transferred to Nicholls State University where he played both running back and defensive back. The Baltimore Ravens selected Webb as the 88th overall draft pick during the 2009 NFL Draft. Webb became the starting kick returner for the Ravens during week 5 in the 2009 season. On December 20, 2009, Webb suffered from a torn ACL and missed the remainder of the season. Webb recorded his first career interception on November 8, 2010 against the Miami Dolphins. During the 2011 season, Webb had his first punt return for a touchdown. In 2012, Webb signed a six-year contract extension with the Ravens during the offseason. Later in the 2012 season, Webb would suffer a torn ACL again and he was placed on injury reserve. Webb recorded his first interception since tearing his ACL in 2013 against the Bengals.
