Ladd McConkey has established himself as a promising wide receiver for the Los Angeles Chargers. McConkey established himself as a multi-position standout at North Murray High by accumulating more than 3000 all-purpose yards and 36 touchdowns in his senior year before accepting his only FBS scholarship at Georgia in 2020.

McConkey participated in two consecutive CFP National Championships at Georgia from 2021 to 2022 while receiving the Wuerffel Trophy in 2023 for his outstanding performance in community service and academic achievements. McConkey completed his college education magna cum laude with a finance degree and received Allstate AFCA Good Works Team recognition twice for his volunteer work.

The 34th overall selection in 2024 led McConkey to establish himself as a rookie with 82 receptions and 1,149 receiving yards and seven touchdowns. The rookie set multiple Chargers records for receptions and receiving yards while becoming the first rookie to achieve 197 receiving yards in a playoff match.
