About Kyle Vanden Bosch
Kyle Vanden Bosch is a former football defensive end. Vanden Bosch attended college at the University of Nebraska where he plated for the Nebraska Cornhuskers football team. During his senior year, he was First-team All-Big 12 Conference as well as Academic All-Big 12 for the third consecutive year. The Arizona Cardinals drafted Vanden Bosch in the second round of the 2001 NFL Draft. Vanden Bosh’s rookie season was cut short due to injury. The following year, he returned from reconstructive knee surgery only to be placed on injury reserve for the entire 2003 season after suffering a torn ACL. In 2004, Vanden Bosch was able to play in every game for the Cardinals. In 2005, Vanden Bosch played for the Tennessee Titans where he started in all 16 game sand made his first Pro Bowl. Vanden Bosch agreed to terms in 2006 with the Tennessee Titans for four-years, $14.5 million. In 2007, Vanden Bosch was named as a starter for the Pro Bowl. On March 10, 2010 Vanden Bosch signed a four-year, $26 million deal with the Detroit Lions.
