About Kordell Stewart
Kordell Stewart was one of the top prospects in the nation after a stellar career at the University of Colorado in which he broke school records in career passing yards, touchdown passes and pass completions. In 1995 he was selected in the 2nd round as the 60th overall pick by the Pittsburgh Steelers and became a star. In his first year as the teams quarterback he led the Steelers to a Super Bowl appearance and earned the 1995 Joe Greene Great Performance Award. In 2001 he earned his first Pro Bowl appearance and was named both the AFC Offensive Player of the Year and Pittsburgh Steelers Team MVP. Stewart would go on to play for the Chicago Bears and Baltimore Ravens before retiring in 2005 and moving into a career in broadcasting. In 2009 he debuted as an analyst on ESPN’s College Football Live and has since taken on the role as an analyst on several ESPN shows such as NFL Live, NFL 32, Take 2 and Mike and Mike in the Morning.
