About Kevin Willis
Kevin Willis played 22 seasons in the NBA for eight different teams and helped the San Antonio Spurs to an NBA Championship in 2003. After a standout college career at both Jackson College and Michigan State, the seven footer was selected in the 1st round of the 1984 NBA Draft by the Atlanta Hawks. Willis played the first 10 years of his pro career in Atlanta, ending his run with the Hawks in 1995 with a career high 21 points and 18 rebounds per game. Over the next 13 seasons he played for the Miami Heat, Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets, Toronto Raptors, Denver Nuggets, San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Mavericks. In 1992 he earned an All-Star selection as a member of the Hawks and was selected to the All-NBA Third Team that season. When his career came to an end in 2007 he had scored 17,523 points and posted 11,901 rebounds to go along with 1,328 assists. A true team player, his most notable accomplishment is that he was a part of 11 playoff teams.
