About Karlos Dansby
Karlos Dansby was a three-sport letterman at Woodlawn High School in Birmingham, Alabama and went on to star as a linebacker at Auburn University from 2000 to 2003. While playing for the Tigers he earned first team All-SEC honors in 2002 and 2003 and earned All-American honors in 2003 after recording 218 career tackles with 10 sacks, 8 interceptions and 31 tackles for a loss. In the 2004 NFL Draft the Arizona Cardinals selected him in the second round with the 33rd overall pick. Upon signing with the Cardinals he won the starting job and earned Pro Football Weekly NFL All-Rookie Team honors in 2004. Since that time he has been one of the most consistent linebackers in the league, recording 1,105 tackles, 41 sacks, 16 interceptions and 16 forced fumbles through 2014. Dansby played the first five seasons of his career in Arizona before heading to the Miami Dolphins in 2010. After a brief return to the Cardinals in 2013 he signed with the Cleveland Browns.
