About Joseph Addai
Joseph Addai joined the Indianapolis Colts in 2006 after a standout college career at Louisiana State University. Addai signed a scholarship to play football at LSU after rushing for 1,429 yards and earning ESPN and Fox Sports All-American honors during his senior year in high school. During his career at LSU he rushed for 2,577 yards, which ranks him fifth all-time in Tigers history. During his sophomore year he helped the Tigers to a BCS National Championship and went on to All-SEC honors as a senior after rushing for 9111 yards and nine touchdowns. While at LSU he was also a member of their nationally ranked track team, running the 100-meter and 200-meter dash. In the 2006 NFL Draft he was selected in the first round with the 30th overall pick by the Colts and helped them to a Super Bowl Title during his rookie season. He’d go on to play the first six seasons of his career in Indianapolis and help them to a second AFC Championship in 2009 before heading to the New England Patriots in 2012.
