Jordan Shipley

Jordan Shipley joined the Cincinnati Bengals in 2010 as a third round pick out of the University of Texas. A Texas boy in every sense of the word, Shipley was born and raised in Burnet, Texas and starred at Burnet High School, setting state high school records with 264 career receptions, 5,424 career receiving yards and 73 career touchdowns while leading his team to back-to-back Texas 3A State Championships. After playing in the 2004 U.S. Army All-American Bowl he joined the Longhorns and continued his success at the college level, earning First-Team All- Big 12 and AllAmerican honors in 2009 while leading his team to a BCS National Championship game appearance. Upon joining the Bengals he signed a four-year, $2.54 million contract and became one of their go to receivers and kick return specialists. Over the next two seasons he saw time with the Buccaneers and Jacksonville Jaguars before retiring from football in 2014.
