John David Booty

John David Booty is a former NFL and college quarterback.  Booty was a star at the University of Southern California, but had to first sit behind Heisman Trophy winner Matt Leinart for three years.  In his first season as a starter, he was named to the All-Pac 10 First Team and led USC to a Rose Bowl victory.  Booty followed that up with another Pac-10 title and Rose Bowl victory for the Trojans in 2007.  He set a record for career touchdowns in the Rose Bowl and was named MVP of the game as a senior.  Booty had a perfect 9-0 record against Top 25 teams in his two seasons as the starter.  The Minnesota Vikings selected him in the fifth round of the 2008 NFL Draft.  Despite his tremendous college success, Booty never got his NFL career rolling and retired with never playing in a regular season game.  He currently works in investments for Spectrum Group Real Estate in Southern California.  Booty came to USC out of Evangel Christian Academy in Shreveport, Louisiana where he won two state championships.  His brother Josh was also a former NFL quarterback and first round draft pick in baseball for the Florida Marlins.
