About Joe Cada
Joe Cada became the youngest champion ever when he won the 2009 World Series of Poker main event. Cada began playing online poker at the age of 16 and eventually turned his hobby into a lucrative professional career. After a successful run in Canada from age 19 to age 21 he returned to the United States and began playing up to 2,000 hands a day on PokerStars. In 2003 he turned pro and began cleaning up on the professional circuit, winning over half a million in various tournaments online and around the United States and Canada prior to his main event win in 2009. Thus far in his young career he has won two World Series of Poker bracelets at the 2009 and 2014 No Limit Texas hold’em events, bringing in over $9.1 million in earnings in just those two events. Over time he has earned the nickname “The Kid” due to his almost always being the youngest player at the big time tables.
