About Jim Edmonds
The eight-time Gold Glove-winning center fielder Jim Edmonds is one of the greatest defensive outfielders of all-time. Edmonds is etched in the minds of those who grew up in the “highlight era” for his diving catches and all-out hustle. With 393 career home runs, the four-time All-Star was also a standout with the bat. Edmonds is best remembered for his time with the St. Louis Cardinals, the franchise he helped to a World Series win in 2006. He was inducted into the Cardinals Hall of Fame in 2014. The Fullerton, California native came up with the California/Anaheim Angels and had a productive and had a productive seven seasons establishing his status as a big league star. Edmonds finished his career out with two more seasons split between the San Diego Padres, Chicago Cubs, Milwaukee Brewers, and Cincinnati Reds. He currently works as a pre and post-game analyst on Cardinals games for Fox Sports Midwest.
