About Jerry Dipoto
Jerry Dipoto is the president of baseball operations for the Seattle Mariners. He was originally hired in 2015. From 2011-15, Dipoto was the general manager of the Los Angeles Angels. He also had experience as an interim general manager with the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2010. Dipoto began his front office career with the Colorado Rockies in 2001. He had two stints with the Rockies in between spending two years as a scout with the Boston Red Sox. Dipoto served as the director of scouting and player personnel for the Diamondbacks. He had an eight-year career as a player. The Cleveland Indians originally selected him in the third round of the 1989 MLB Draft.
