About Jerick McKinnon
Jerick McKinnon is a running back for the San Francisco 49ers. The Vikings originally selected him in the third round of the 2014 NFL Draft. McKinnon got six starts in his rookie campaign and had two 100-yard games. In 2015, he served as mostly a backup for All-Pro Adrian Peterson. McKinnon played college football at Georgia Southern. He had one of the most prolific careers in school history, finishing 3rd all-time with 3,899 rushing yards and 42 touchdowns. McKinnon posted back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons his last two years in school. As a senior, he set the groundwork for the program's rise into the FBS ranks. McKinnon helped Georgia Southern score arguably their biggest win in program history when he ran for 125 yards and the winning touchdown against Florida.
