About Jenny Jones
Jenny Jones is a pioneering British snowboarder who won Great Britain’s first Olympic snowboarding medal, a bronze in slopestyle at the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics. Initially a competitive gymnast, she began snowboarding at 17, progressing to compete in the Winter X Games and World Championships. Her Olympic success elevated her profile, inspiring increased interest in snowboarding across the UK. Jones has since transitioned into coaching, hosting snowboarding workshops, such as a 2025/2026 Snowboard & Training Workshop in Tignes and a backcountry workshop focusing on skills and avalanche safety.
